running rough

Having trouble, Car cranks up and idles fine,when i give it gas about 1/2 throttle it stalls out, the motor dont cut off it just wont rev up past 1/2 throttle. it has a new fuel filter and new pump.Had about 100 miles on everthing went to store came out and it started acting funny. sorry dont have a scan master or power logger yet..

sounds like it could be the maf sensor. check for leaks between the maf and dog house. get a scanmaster, much easier to diagnose problems.

Sounds more like a boost leak to me. Check all your clamps and silicone hoses

I had the exact same problem and it was the MAF. And I was able to verify the trouble with my scanmaster by watching the AF and seeing that it wouldn't rise above a certain number thus leaning out the motor.

Give the MAF a rap with a screwdriver while idling. If it stumbles it is the MAF.
