Scanmaster sat in AZ. sun too long and now digits are wacky.

Finally get to play with my car that (obviously) has a scanmaster and powerlogger. The SM digits are wacked. Any ideas on how to fix this, other then but a new SM with 2.2 chip? Thanks!
