SCE ICS Copper head gaskets

Anyone get their hands on a set of these relatively new head gaskets? Last post I see is from December 2004. They are supposed to be a much better design than Cometic. Modify the http address below to use the link.

Nope. A freind has had a set ordered from Weber for a while and still waiting. Weber is waiting on them to have the sealant installed on the gasket so they really don't know how long it will be.

I just talked to them and they are available in .043, .050 & .062. Bore is 3.950 and they are 14 bolt. I didn't ask if the 4.060 is available. These are redesigned to theoretically work with various head combos and address the issues they had this Spring. No plans for an 8 bolt version.

So, should these work on an 8 bolt block with 14 both GN1s? Is there even an advantage over Cometics or Steel shims since head lifting seems to be a bigger issue with 8 bolt? Does O-ring help with head lifting or just blow out?
