What shifter will work in stock console [ I don't want to cut up my original console in my 87 GN ]
I'd like the look of the Hurst manual sticks with the white ball handle . The stock stick/handle look a little too civilized to me . I'd also like it to give controlled manual shifts . Tks

I know they developed a bump shifter for the F bodies and were considering one for G bodies but I never heard if it was ever developed.

I have a F body neutral switch assy on my g body shifter. I had to do that when I did the trans shift/key lock delete. The shifter works much easier without all that column shift crap hooked up.
