shifting.......well not so much

wont shift into 2nd unless i let off, under full power or just crusing, same with 2nd to 3rd, reset the TV, and the tighened it up couple clicks, same thing. time fer a rebuild?

First thing I would do Anthony is pull the pan, check to see if you have a small governor spring in the bottom of the pan. More than likely that is all it has done, thrown the spring off of the governor. Let us know what you find.

That's the same thing that happened with mine. Got it back friday night and took it for a ride. Had no problems. Next day it doesn't want to shift into 2nd unless I let off the gas. Hopefully it's an easy fix. Good Luck with yours.

This condition most always happens right after you do a hard run also.

throttle valve in valve body which controls tv upshift delay oil may be stuck.shut off the car and hit the gas 20 times.restart and see if it shifts ,if it does thats where the problem lies.also disconnect tv cable and note 1/2 shift rpm and road speed with minimum throttle and post results.

20/30x and then still the same, disconnected TV cable..... very soft shift, but right around 2900/3000rpm and 26/27mph. probably the spring huh? i should just drop insurance and burn the thing

pulled the pan....no spring..well i ran my hand through the pan . how big is it? i changed the fluid ( dropped the pan let it sit for a day then refilled it ) and filter about 150miles ago. the fluid is GRITTY. the little divot near the rear of the pan had lots of crap in it.. time for a rebuild huh?.......... well im done for the summer
