SHOULD my shifts be snappy if I hadn't (likely) toasted my oil?

This is with a CK pressure regulator, street/strip VB and shift kit.

All at 1000 rpm

Holding in 2 at 200 PSI, I get a very small blip of the needle right before it shifted 1 - 2 and I get a quick but soft shift.

In drive, and tightened TV, I get the same 1 - 2 results with 150 PSI. A small blip, a fast shift, but nothing neck snapping.

Thanks!

lets block off that 1/2 acc piston feed hole and then ill show you how to firm up third.

How do I do that?
Either drill and tap the accum feed hole in the accum housing and plug it or just hammer in a steel ball bearing. A ball check from a trans will work fine. Leave out the middle check ball in the vb also if you want it real firm.
