simple fuel pressure question

If my fuel pressure was below 10psi, would I notice driveability problems, such as hesitation, etc? I'm pretty sure there would be noticeable issues. The reason I ask is because my fuel pressure gauge was reading down to 0psi this morning, but the car was driving fine. Pretty sure the gauge is a piece of crap.

tap the gauge and see what happens...I doubt the car would run at 10#

it's a digital gauge that has always given me problems, so tapping it probably wouldn't do too much good. I think it's time to get a mechanical one. Thanks for the reply though.

I have not seen a digital one that kept working over a period time...sounds like replacement time.
