Site Change Suggestions! Font Color, etc...

Jay and I just met and talked a little about the site. I will be honest the font color, dark red, is killing me... It's gotta go... If you have any suggestions let us know...

Any other minor things as well, nothing major...

Please don't complain, just suggestions....

Shane I suggested a BLACK back ground when this first came about because there was just way too much grey, with the Black background it would offset some of the eye strain, The red on grey has always looked weird to the eye's as well.... If it were me I would have stuck to the original colors IMO...

Name colors should be a little different Shane. Red for admin and blue for vendors is good but how about black for normal members and something else for mods. Maybe a dark green? nt sure what color would be best here. Helps to pick out who's on the board a little easier.

Shane, I think a great thing would to be able to open up Powerlogger DAT files directly without having to post them as Zip files. Even the "other" board offers that and that place is dead.

Lot of blank space in posts because of the info under avatars, don't remember it being that way before. Again using the "other" site you can see there isn't a lot of dead space on posts. Look at this thread over there and you can see the difference. hid? - TurboBuicks.com

Colors, I eventually got used to them but did like the old ones better.

Thank you ,I thought it was me and my old eyes.The score boards at our local track are red and I have a hard time reading them.Any other colour combo seems to work.

Old yellow color was perfect. I could spend hours here... Now, only a few minutes at a time... Too much strain on the eyes and I'm not old either... LOL

Put the style of the User name over the top and not off to the side. This way we can just scroll down and not side to side to see the name of the poster then what the post. Makes viewing from smartphones a pain.

I am color blind, so the colors don't affect me. I guess that is why my cars are black, gray and white! Well at least I think they are. I know the gn is definitely black. I guess I am no help with this subject. Sorry!

Shane, I see where there is a time on each post but there is no date. I'm not sure when anything is posted. You posted at 11:25 and the post before me was 11:58 but I don't know if it was 33 minutes apart or a year and 33 minutes apart. I like the old colors as well. Thanks

edit: the dates showed up once I posted in this thread and there was some black borders around each post. now they are gone and its gray again.

More yellow/orange like the original power 6 color. honestly the old colors were perfect and not really sure why they were ever changed. a black background would really pop to. some color contrast is needed. the Join date, location and posts under the avitar looks really generic imo.
