I thought the TA version was cast over there but not machined. The blank casting was sent to TA for complete machining. Maybe I am wrong but that is how I took it.

See link in post 15 you are correct. I am not sure why the rest of the crowd has a hard time following this.

As far as the resolution goes, I have not received anything at this point.

Sure looks the same, those pics show nothing in the pump itself as far as oil gallery sizing, pocket depth, side clearance of gears, and cam sensor bore alignment.

Where is the proof?? I read the whole thread and didn't see any proof that they aren't china covers machined into tolerance by Tom or his staff at T/A.

I'm serious and would like to know the truth.

They ARE cast in china and machined by TA, they are not re-machined. You can not add material once it has been removed.

Where's the proof of that?? If I saw a pre-machined cover than that argument might hold water.

If that was true T/A should use that as a selling point and show a before and after pic to show that it's not just marketing hype or left to open interpretation as it is now.

Just because someone says it's so doesn't always make it so. I'm a skeptic and will be until proof is shown otherwise.

I would like to see the process
Myself from the so called Blank
To the finished product
Until then its a china cover thats cleaned up

You both do realize this is member feedback not tech section right? Good job to you both for ruining another thread.

As far as spooledyou goes no resolution yet.

Resolution was supposed to be reached after some moderator intervention. And then crickets........no refund no communication.

I let the paypal process play out and paypal sided in my favor. I returned the cover, provided tracking. Paypal issued my refund 4/23/2014.

Spooledyou will be restored to the site. So buyer beware, even if he was misinformed about what he had and did not know otherwise, his actions after the transaction were inconsistant.
