John, here are the pics of the turbo you requested (a bit delayed  ) From what I was told, it's got some "secret squirrel" stuff done...

Roll cage looks really nice. I really like the rear bars for the cage and will have done mine the same way when I go 25.5.

Well there's a part of me that wishes I just left it together from last year cause I could be racing like right now... but I am sure I'll be happier with the end result, even if it means no racing for me until July.... :frown:

Here's a few better pics from the chassis shop this weekend:

Are you shooting for a super low ride height? We have been working on a Malibu and want it in the weeds. The problem is the Wolfe anti-roll bar hits the upper control arms when we get it low. We're looking at moving the Wolfe bar behind the rear similiar to yours but it needs a lot of bracing. Seems your chassis guy is familiar with G-bodies...he's doing an awesome job.

We do want the ability to go low with the car. However, when it first comes out, I expect that the ride height will only be a couple inches lower than stock in the rear. I am sure we will be doing some experimenting with spings. I plan on running factory stock springs at all four corners to start with.. my chassis guys think I'm nuts, and already have alternative plans for when I decide to listen to them on that one- lol.

Yea Me Too! lol. The plan now is to have it's debute at Route 66 for the NMRA/NMCA event on July 19th-21st... I think if I'm ready, I'm going to try to go a round in NMCA 10.5 OUTLAW - lol - however I will be easily over a full second off pace, but it's the only class I'll fit into without changing anything. Plus I can run with the sissy bars on and get used to it a bit... I'll also prolly be overweight by about 500lbs... oh well. haha

Cliff,

The chassis is really coming along.
Please PM the cost when you get a chance.
I need something else to depress me!!!

youll have to give me some area codes this year at RSD...lol

that things gonna scoot!

Just cause cliff might make 1300rwhp or more doesn't mean he'll get out of the 10s yet. Cliff is going for the record of world's highest powered 10.0second car. BARNONE.

Slowly but NICELY coming along....
