Thanks, yea, filters New, so either the Pump or a Kinked line somewhere.

I'm the only hands that have ever been in there, so we'll see on Thursday when I drop it! ....
 
I had a bad fuel pump hot wire relay do that to me. Contacts were burned and when you loaded it down.. would drop voltage.

3 HG's latter I found it. What a pain that was..
 
Is there anyway to Test the Relay, other than checking the voltage to the connector at 'Key on'?
 
It was the Pump alright! Now at 21-22boost my fuel presuure is a Solid 67PSI and a 0.0 knock and Lowest 02 of 847 on several 0-90mph blasts, NOW I can finally start Bumping Up the timing and Boost....:)

Wonder whats up with all these Walpro's going bad lately though....

Good question...I had two of them go bad on my GTO in a one year period. Good thing I keep a close eye on my FP gauge when I lay into it;)

Are there any other drop in pumps that have proven to be more reliable?

Chinese Knock offs are the problem, and it's a REAL Problem, as there are currently NO OTHER high performance drop in pumps...theres a Thread on just about EVERY automotive message board right now...
 
Where did you get the pump from??
So far, everyone who's having this issue is not saying where they are getting them from.

Good to see you're back on track, and with that Millivolt # you can lean it out or get greedy and start making more power which'll lean it out. :cool:

Oh Thanks GNVYUS, yea I got 'This' pump from Cottons, previous one from Kirbans, but I'm 90% sure that ALL these Walpro pumps, from Any TR Vendor, come from the same source...question is WHO is that source....

Oh, and Yea, it's Add Timing and Boost time:D

Yea, I actually started another Thread on it too, I'm now WAY too fat on Fuel, and lost ~30-40hp, as my O2 Millivolts are staring around 870, and ending right around 800, and my MPH went from ~107 to ~105, with MORE Boost and timing too!! Not Really sure what to do now, although I did turn the boost Down to 20, and the timing Up to 27/26 & converter lock-up at 95mph, which as high as I can go to keep Knock at bay, get a Frame or 2 of 1.1 or so and thats it, and the O2's are good...But It now FEELS like my HP came back by doing that...but I'm planning a Track Trip for Thursday so I'll Update then!

Talk with your chip maker. If you have a chip made with 25 PSI boost in mind, and you run 20.. you are going to be really rich. Make sense?

Yes, it does, thats why I asked in my other Thread about Pulling some fuel out of the chip (Eric/Turbotweak Chip)...also I had said in that other Thread that I ran MORE BOOST (~24psi) since I had the Extra Fuel, thinking the car would 'FLY' , and in fact it Slowed down....Very Confusing:confused:

**Update**

Got my MPH Back! Yesterday evening, with just about Identical Conditions
Best of 3 passes:

60' 1.993
330' 5.457
1/8 8.328
MPH 85.57
1000 10.81
1/4 12.918@107.48 ZERO knock (0.9 in One frame)

What I did was Turn DOWN the Boost to 21Lbs, and bump Up the Timing
to 26.9/24.9....this time I used Turbolink instead of Scanmaster so I could look at Everything, Especially KNOCK which was Zero, and the aforementioned 0.9 at my 85mph Lock-up....the Other two passes were 0.0 and of Course Zero Knock Counts

Alch is on the Default 5.2 setting...Now if I Increase the Alch would that help if I UP the boost??
