i have been daily driving 1 of several t types that i own everyday for the last 7 years. things i had to replace most frequently was stock maf sensors going bad which i suspect them going bad from maf pipes shaking them.i have been running lt1 maf and translator and zero problems since. had to replace 1 crank sensor and 1 module and coil that was all.probably put 300,000 miles on the group of cars obviously i had to normal stuff like brakes,tires,filters oil changes but not a lot turbo regal specific stuff.
i have had many broken trannys but i think that has to do with racing the daily driver all turned up.
you live in texas it is not like you have to worry about crashing it in the snow?
