I`m in a pinch here, need a oil pan gskt for my 90 sunbird turbo, nobody has any and I got to get it going by tues. Can I use "the right stuff" by pematex to MAKE a gasket, and work.I`ve heard good things bout this stuff, but lets here it from the people who have used it,,will it work by itself,no regular gasket at all, just "the right stuff"---BTW this oil pan has a factory windage tray,so that means two gaskets------Jack

my friend used it for valve cover gasket on a 305 i believe. what he did was put a thick bead on the valve cover and let it dry just a little and then installed it. he said it worked great and it was gonna suck for whoever takes the covers off next:) he also put a bead around a 4.3L oil pan on his s10 and stopped a leak too, just smeared it around the edge of the gasket without loosening and bolts. this stuff sounds rally awesome, maybe i should use some to stop my car from sweating everywhere! hth

the right stuff
