I work in a long term acute care facility, I'm also the director of maintenance. Everyone in there is in real trouble.
Some patients recover and some don't.
Some have the fight to get through and some don't.
Some could recover but don't want fight.
Some can't recover even though they fight.
They have all been through tremendous stress and some are not thinking straight. In those times of extreme stress when you may not be thinking straight should you be making that decision?
I'm not saying yea or nay, just it is a slippery slope like was stated in an earlier post and when you start letting people decide who gets to live or die agendas will begin to set the direction this goes in.
Who gets to decide who lives or dies?
Again if you want to end your life you have always been free to make that choice. Just don't ask or force me to help you.
