I mocked up some of the runners to try to see what this monster is going to look like.

wow, those are large! heads sure won't be the limiting factor on your motor now!

I still have to do the final port matching of the runners after I get them mounted to the flanges. That will mean widening them by another .100-.120" or so.

I don't know about the hood thing. It will be what it is.
Not sure what fasteners will be used. Like I've stated before, it's a 'design on the fly' project.

No matter how you slice it theres is alot of work to build a intake.

I'll post a pic when I get the runners fastened to the flanges. I started on that task today.

Cylinder runners number 5 and 2 had to be relieved slighty to clear a couple of the intake flanges mounting bolts. It's hard to tell in the picture, but there is clearance above the heads of the bolts.

The new manifold, believe it or not, is still lower at this point than the Stage I intake setup was. There is a 5 1/2 inch difference at this point.

you DO think way outside the box, and some obviously have a problem with that! LOL
that should support about 50lbs boost and 9500 rpm, LOL

Are those injector pads on the outside? Why are two narrower than the other four?
