I knew it was going to happen soon, and sure enough today I am pretty sure the tras. is about to go. I noticed this after going to a car show in St. Augustine today , when I got close to home my GN had a hard time shifting to 2nd gear, like it was reving real high then I'd let off the gas for a second then get back on it easy and it would finally shift. When I turned into my neighbor hood after I stopped for traffic the car would only move at about 10-15 MPH. and would not shift. If any one know's of a good reputable trans. shop near Jax. please send me a phone # and who to talk to.

No shops in Jax unless you want a junk trans. I have a transmission that will get you on the road but has about 12000 miles on the unit. PM me if you are interested. If you insist on new than Burgess transmission in Melbourne is your best bet even if you have to tow the car down. I see if I can find the number.

I wasn't sure how to IM so I'll just send this to you. I think I'll just go through and have mine rebuild so it's done. If you could find the # to the shop I would appreciate it. I also heard there is a shop called Victory tras. some where in Ocala, have you ever heard of them?
