Looking for larger, streetable turbo, that doesn't require a 5000 rpm stall (being sarcastic) if you know what I mean. I need it to be totally stock appearing, and able to fit a factory heat shield over. I'm not totally familiar with all the sizes, but I'm guessing something like a TA60, or TA60-1?
I have money on hand, and can pay immediately. I am currently deployed, so I may not be able to respond to you THAT MINUTE, but give me time, I WILL read your offer, and I WILL respond. Please don't go off selling it to someone else, if I can't get back to you that very second. My email address is turbo6smackdown@yahoo.com. Please send offers there.

I request that it be in serviceable condition, and ready to be bolted on, as a rebuild is usually 450 dollars. So, for that price, I could have bought one brand new...
Thank you.

I'll have a TA-61 in a few weeks.

I recently bought a CPT66BB that will replace my TA-61, and I'm working on getting the parts to complete the swap. The main hold-up is I want to go through CA smog testing with the TA-61, and I hope to get tested in about two or three weeks time. I ordered a T Tweak emissions chip, so I need that to arrive and do a few more things to get ready for the test. The TA-61 is in good shape, with a polished cover, and the Garrett .63 housing. I have a couple of pix of the turbo on the car at home I could email or post if you want. It has about 12,000 miles or so on it, and I have installed a John DiCarlo turbo oil filter system for the turbo, so it's always gotten filtered oil since I purchased it, and sent it off to Limit Engineering for a rebuild. Sounds like our schedules may synch up since you're not currently able to install it, and I'm not actively advertising it for sale yet. let me know if you're interested, and stay safe!!
Sincerely,
John A, Turbohh

Sent you pix!!

I went ahead and sent you pix. Best to PM me if you're interested. BTW, you won't have any heat shield fitment issues with a TA-61!!

I love them TA-61 turbo's. Good choice for a stock appearing turbo.

Replied back.

I replied back, I think you have the facts right. I'll keep you posted as to my progress.
