Hey everyone my car currently has a Racegate on an ATR D.P i was considering switching to the Turbosmart gate 38mm ......im having a boost issue car will not make over 15 Psi in the past it was fine no problems and i belive after doing some testing that it is gate related due to the racegate just being worn out .........Does anyone know if that is a direct bolt in ?Thanks .

I bought a Tial 38mm for my ATR style DP. My old Deltagate was a POS and was leaking boost all over the place. The Tial was bolt on, no problems and with rock solid boost.:)

maybe you need a new spring or have a leak? what kind of boost controller do you have?

The turbosmart gate is a bolt on too. Very nice unit.

A RACEgate has a 42mm flanges, but the DELTAgate has 38mm.

If you have a RACEgate, you must get a 42mm wastegate, but if its a Deltagate, you can get a 38mm Tial wastegate.

I went from my boost leaking, sticking to 30++psi Deltagate to a Tial that spools to 26psi in milliseconds and doesnt creep or anything.

You must make sure which gate you have, the Racegate or Deltagate by Turbonectics. If you have the Racegate and buy a 38mm Tial, it wont fit correctly. *doh!*

My bad. Didnt know the racegate was a different size. Learn something new everyday......

As far as the spring i took the Racegate apart and couldnt find any thing obvious , i even put a longer bolt in the top part to see if that made a difference . I changed boost controlers ( Compresor type ) and checked for leaks i may give this another look , It definatly is the racegate so i guss i find the problem , weld some different flanges on which even if you went to anygate bigger is going to have to be done i do realize the vale is bigger but are the bolt holes and flange actully diffrent we are talking 4 mm differance here . Thanks for the repies .

I Just completly disasembled it tonight ..............i cant find any reason its the problem ....i went through it and the vac lines and will give it another try when i can .

Yeah I misread too. The Turbosmart gate is a direct for the Deltagate.
