mostly i fix aerial equipment under 150 feet, i specialize in electronics and fast trouble shooting- usually get a job done fast and take pride in what i do- been there 7.5 years, im almost 29 this year!
even thou we get are the lowest paid scale in the kansas city area, THANKS OPERATING ENGINEERS YOU SUCK!!!
I definitely would love to have my 401K back and be non union any day of the week- looking forward to both this year
about my job:
i fix, repair, and maintain 6.7 million dollars worth of high reach equipment for my company- its just me and another guy, but he is dang near worthless, so its pretty much me stuck doing all the maintenance and MAJOR repairs on all the equipment,40, 60 80 100 125 150 booms, 19,20,26,30,31,32,40,50 foot scizzors man lifts, genie, skyjack, jlg, condor, wildcat, grove, ect is what i work on-
the one good thing about my job is that everyday is a different job. we got so much work to do im going blind from it!
i think there is 5 million in dirt equipment that i work on, linkbelt, john deere, gradall, ingersoll rand, sull air, skytrak,JCB

,case, bobcat, dithc witch, vermeer, sh!t all ads up when your dealing with heavy machinery-
its a good job, just real stressful when it has to be fixed in 3 hours and they give you 1/2 hour to do it!!!
i work to much, no time to work on my own damn car
