I was at a Car Craft a couple of years ago and came across a 1971 Hemi Cuda convertible 4-speed manual. That makes it 1 of 3 and worth (what I have been told) north of a million dollars.

I asked the guy if he knew just how rare that car was. He knew and was guarding it like a Maclaren F1.

Pretty cool car, nada guides wont even give a price of what its worth.

It's a slopar.:o

Maybe so, but its like having a pile of gold bricks in your garage. We can only hope the GNX can reach that status in the future and Buick has nothing as rare as that car.

rarest for me. well something you dont see every day a bugatti varon

I agree a slopar .. BUT it would kill this 1 of 4 Shelby Mustang GT 350 Convert  Here is a pic back in 1975 from what I remember and one from the late 90s  oh last one is for the whiners who hate dogs

He has a million dollar car but has $60 tires on it

The restoration of that 'Cuda isn't even close to correct.

Stuff painted the wrong color, wrong washers on the shocks, etc. and don't even get me started on how horrible it would be to drive, because convertible 'Cudas drive like ass.

You would have to be a real idiot to pay $1 million for that, when you could by a REAL supercar car for $900K less and spend the remainder on something you could actually enjoy.

Somewhere around here I've got some digital photos of a 1968 Hemi Cuba. The guy who built my 3.8liter races it in AA. I'll find them and post them.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who pays attention to the details. I would just slay some of you guys if a GN ever reached 6 figures.

Price dont mean crap and rare don't mean crap. That clown should take the first million offered to him and go get an education. Even if I was as stupid as him I wouldn't pay out the money for a F'd up restored car like that. I'd rather have an unmolested original with cancer in the sheetmetal and worn out rings blowing oil over one of those altars on wheels. It's only original once.

COPO RS Camaro?

huh?

Maybe it was a COPO something else, but it Aint a COPO 9561 427.

1. an MSO GNX w/ 500 miles my friend had
2. a friends rotissere restored Plymouth Superbird (not a clone) that he actually street drives and will be in Hot Rod mag w/ Goldbergs soon
3. a clump of real shelby stangs a local guy has (over 10 diff ones) and one of the numerous movie Eleanors from Gone in 60 secs
4. a Tucker dont even recall what it was outside the name.

Roger's Corvette Center in Orlando has an original 69 ZL1 427 Corvette. If I remember correctly they actually built 3 of them, but the one (which was white if I remember correctly) was destroyed by GM after being used for the magazines to test so that only left 2 of them.

Yeah I thought COPO Camaro's were plain jane and looked like Granny cars but the link says 2 were RS's. I think if I could have any muscle car from the 60'/70's the 69 COPO 9560 Camaro would be it.
General Info - Camaro FAQ

COPO 9560 was a special run of 1969 Camaros based off of the SS package (minus the SS badges) and with a 427ci aluminum block engine (ZL-1) making at least 430 HP (a conservative factory number). Only 69 of these were built.

As you can tell by the line up of cars Im going to have to say im willing to bet these guys know more about these cars than the average bear,so YES its a COPO,maybe its a 9560,but its 100% a COPO..it also has 14,000 original miles on it..
