Where to install Alky nozzle?

My car currently has a Dequick SMIC and I'm about to install a precision FM. The alky nozzle is mounted midway on the up pipe. How close can I mount the nozzle on the FM up pipe. I'm hoping right at the TB. Is this safe? Thanks

I mounted mine where the instructions said to mount the nozzel. See the pic below.
