currently runnig 6262sp turbo.thinking mite be going to the new 6466cea turbo down the road.mild ported irons. 208cam. 3"thdp,fmic,alky w/ 60lbers & tt chip any suggestion would be much appreciated thanks.

What have you run with the 6262?

have not made a pass w/the 6262jb sp at a track. lots of streetracing or sould i say street tuning no one street races around here he! he! was thinking with the convertor thats in the car now could step up later. the car sould go 10.90s w/ my current setup. need fresh set of m/t dragradials running 275 60 15s that are toast. 27lbs boost sould have me knocking on a high 10 sec pass w/a good 60foot.

I think you should wait till you run 10.50 with the 6262 before you make a turbo change.

The Precision 64 wheel is not meant for a Buick application, it is set up for high pressure ratios.

thanks john and bison. seen cal had posted that at the pri show pte was coming out with a 6466cea turbo for us. that would bridge between the 6262e jb and the 6765cea. was thinking with the convertor and setup i have now would be able to move up down the road to the 6466cea turbo. and still be able to run that turbo with my combo dont want to change convertors. very limited budget thanks again guys.

Unless you are locking at WOT the 6262 will drive all over that converter. The 6262 is more than 99% of the posters on this board need.
