Yes. Don't buy foreign junk. Support America by buying products made by the great vendors on this site. And join a UNION. Where they will stand up for the right of the workers and negotiate a fair labor agreement. But there are some professors on this site who think because he went to college he his better than everyone. Also may I say that there are a few morons here that watch to many movies and think that the union uses intimidation is nonsense. I love my Union and will die by it.
Where do you do your stand up? Please let us know, you might be the funniest guy I know.
Unions DO use intimidation, not all of them, but enough, how many documented examples do you want me to produce?.
The only people on this thread that seem to profess a superiority complex seem to be pro union.

Look I worked in three unions now I am non union. It just wasn't for me. What ever you feel comfortable with go that way. I worked at UPS as a mechanic the biggest company in the world. The strike happened in the 90's and they said we can't afford to have you anymore after the strike. It was a strike related to how heavy of a package to lift. They were teamsters a diffrent union than us. We striked with them and I lost my job due to a freind of the manager that he hired durring the strike. My dad put in 30 years at Evenrude motors and he call the union and said there is nothing we can do.
Now I do HVAC and go into homes everyday and here about how great it was here in Milwaukee back then. Get out of high school and get a job at one of 20 or more union factories here. But they all have a story on what they have lost from the unions Benifits,lower pention,and more. The point of this things happen for a reason and go where you feel comfortable. Move this site!

At the present count UPS has 400,000 union workers. Fed ex has none. UPS is a far superior shipping company. So i am sorry that it didnt work out for you. It probably wont work out with the hvac thingy sooner or later. but like you said **** happens.

Japan can't even find enough workers for their own plants. Where would workers for an American plant come from? Are we going to ship them into Japan from China?
There are 5X more robots in Japan than there is in the Entire US, because they don't have a workforce that wants to do manual labor for the rest of their lives. Hmmm... maybe they ARE smarter than us.
Japan tariffs their OWN cars to death. If you want to own a car in Japan it costs about 2X to 5X what it would cost you in the US. They don't want people driving cars, they want them riding trains. If we put a Tariff on their cars 1) our cars would become more expensive and 2) start to suck again because of a lack of competition and 3) Japan would go elsewhere to buy airplanes, medical supplies and 1000's of other things they use everyday because they would have someone else's money to spend and not ours.
The only cars Japan "Dumps" on the US is the Prius and the GTR. The rest are sold at what it costs to make them, which is less than a similar GM car or what they can get for them. For the last 3 years at least, the "currency exchange" has made it very easy for Americans like me to sell stuff to Japanese and European customers, not harder.
