Hi, i have had enough of the 2004r blues, will a 350 trans hold up in these cars, and will the TT chip need to be changed? Also what part# i need for a 3000 stall?

Tweak runs a th350.

Ask him what setup he is running, i think its a 70mm turbo and a ati conv, maybe lincoln, heck probably a jw i forget.

i've got a 350 behind mine, so far so good...... also dusty buddy chris has one on his tsm car too.

ill let you know in about a week. lol as soon as my converter comes in i puttin one in that has the drum and transbrake

Anyone know if the car is still streetable? Also, is there any thing special about the converts?

if your gonna run a transbrake then you need to let them know when you get your converter. other than that its all ancient chinese secrets that the converter guys arent gonna tell you lol

OK, i just got my trans today, i still got to get converter. Will the cross member fit the same?

Same converter will work but it will have to be changed from the 27 spline of the 200r to the turbo spline of the T-350.

The 350 is underestimated with good parts. We have just redesigned our brake valve body and I dont think there is anything that can produce better results. We are also using lock up converters in some applications. The trans can handle 600 easily. There is a billet output and custom forward drum for hi powered applications.

Sorry to jump in but I was curious about that myself. I have an ATI TH350 behind a 700HP N/A LSx and it has performed very well. I was thinking of keeping it to use for my GN/LSx project but I don't know that I want to be manually shifting during street duty all the time.

holding so far but i gotta get it to the track to let you know for sure.mines got the tci drum and a trans brake with a deep pan.

Keep me posted, i havent put mine in yet. I have 2000-2200 stall for it, but the stall in my 2004R is a 2800, im trying to get the cash for a 2800-3000 stall for the 350 trans. Im tempted to try the 2000-2200, but i dont want to pull this trans to change it if i dont like it.
