Yes,
still using the cushion spring on the servo.
I may take it off and see what happens
Didn't mess with it today but did drive to town however (live in the boonies now

)
At WOT in 4th gear the converter was locking, or trying to.
Hard to tell, gotta let out of it sometime. Wife was screaming in fear, kids were screaming from pure joy, and I don't need to be driving like that with all of them in the car but....
It was odd,
It will shift to 4th at 5000 rpm (just under 100 mph) and goes into 4th, rpms fall, then it would lock and the whole sound of the engine/exhuast would change. It wasn't a hard lock, but felt like it slid into a locked position.
I'm wondering if:
1. The pressure switch isn't seeing enough pressure to ground unless it is at full TV?
2. There isn't enough pressure to lock the converter until full TV.
3. Converter clutch is worn, and never getting completely locked?
I tend to think it is a switch issue and I need to manually ground it and see what happens.
I've used the same switch on 700's without issue...
Trans has a ground strap to it from the body...
I'm gonna drop the pan next weekend and drill the gov, drill the feed holes on 1-2 and 2-3 a little more and find a lesser spring for the 4th accum.
I'm gonna get it where I like it if I wear the case out doing it.
