Is this really happening down there?

I wonder if the shopping mall management called the cops because they got tired of the loitering and maybe customers were complaning? If not and the cops simply targeted them, then we are just one step closer to that grand socialist state most of the people here are clamoring for...

    Need Part Number for QA1

Okay, for the future reference for others... Front Coil Over: DGMP 1450-3 gets you a 450# spring and double adjustable shock. The rear will require a DDR 8855P shock, double adjustable. BAR 350K, mounting hardware. 14-200 200# rear springs.

    Need Part Number for QA1

Does anyone have the part numbers for the HAL QA1 coil overs, front and rear, for our cars? :) I don't want the drag shocks, but the handing package. Thanks in advance.

turbolou: Happy 68th Birthday (getting up there, huh)

68 ... 64 ... whatever, I just want to know what is was like to vote for Abe Lincoln. ;) Happy Birthday!

    Well it started..

It was nice meeting you last night Mike. All you need is some seat time and you'll never lift again! ;) Aside from trying to knock the fence down you had some good runs.

Got rear ended and hit 3 times today and nobody stopped

Sorry to hear about that Kevin. I am guessing all parties involved had no license and/or insurance. Welcome to the Socialist State. BMW's are GREAT cars...while they are still under warranty. ;)

We need to have more gatherings each month.

When I had an Impala SS, the local club here in Los Angeles would meet up at a central place and then cruise out to somewhere and have lunch. This can get dangerous if the testosterone is not kept in check on the freeway  but it was pretty fun to do.

    Cross-drilled, Slotted Rotor ?'s

Exactly Bruce. <mindless jibberish to follow> About three years ago (maybe longer?) we were at Laguna Seca and there were some guys that had some cross drilled rotors and every single one of them, not only cracked, but broke into pieces. So then the trend moved to slotted, but not drilled...

    Cross-drilled, Slotted Rotor ?'s

There is no real need to go with cross drilled rotors other than the bling effect. Spend your money elsewhere on something more useful. :) In other words, all of the cars that I have raced and raced against, no one has cross drilled rotors.

    Spring rate conversion? Bruce??

<thinking out loud> So let's assume you have the air bag filled to, say, 75% of it's full capacity...Once you load the rear end and the air bags get to the point where they have no more *give* to them, your 'spring rate' would then be infinity? Kinda the same as coil bind. I would say...

    Our Big brother C6 ZO6

I have driven the new Z06 and this car flat out hauls! It was not really made for drag racing, so I am sure that with some suspension mods and the right tires the car would have much better time slips. On a road course this car has no equal. This thing is light and balanced with tons of power to...

    helmets

Since no one is answering you, I'll take a swing at this. :D I have no idea, BUT why would anyone climb into a race car without safety equipment? :)
