Yes, stock longblock. I assume the 5831 will fit under the stock turbo shield and is a pure bolt-on. With Alky "on tap" is there any need to go to bigger injectors?
I'm looking for suggestions for an aftermarket turbo to replace my stock one. First, I guess, will it be worth it since I don't want to go the extra mile and get a higher stall converter? Right off it looks like the Precision 5831 MFS is the one. With what you see in my sig does this sound about...
Your car really does look awesome. I've had a set of Draglites on my GN for twenty years now and have been meaning to replace them as they are water stained and generally dull looking. I'd like to get a better backspacing also. Yours seem to tuck in nicely. What wheel and tire sizes front and...
Same story with myself. No converter but had a "y" pipe that I had to remove and still had to do tell "The Lord" all about it before it came out. Bought a 4 post car lift soon afterward and wished I would have waited until I had it to do the RJC dp install. To sum up - It Sucked!
As it turned out the bolt was easy to find since it's a basic 5/16" bolt. I went with a 5" long one and a washer. I did have to clock the turbo slightly to get the hose to line up.
That's my issue right there! - I didn't get the longer bolt for the water pump.
Well, I guess, I was going to the parts store anyway for thread sealer. Something tells me this longer bolt won't be easy to find.
Thanks for the info.
