My father in law wants to go look at one. He already has a monte aero coupe. I have seen a 1100 mile 2+2 and it was perfect but I have no idea what they are worth. The car is complete with the exception of the transmission. I know there was only 1225 built but that doesn't mean they have much value. So if anyone else know much about their value or collectability please chime in.

Check out NADAGUIDES.COM and hagerty insurance. That should give you some idea of what they're worth.;)

Theres 3 on Ebay at the moment. I have seen very low mileage/mint condition examples go for around $10k and NADA has them at $15k high retail (although an 87 GN is $33k high retail so take that for whats its worth, NADA is very high). Just one of those cars that unfortunately isnt worth much despite rarity, low mileage, condition, etc because of the lack of performance, ie Hot Air Turbo Regals. Good luck though, theyre definitely interesting cars.

Ive had two...now have a prototype my mom bought new...as mentioned above, they are rare but not valueable....one without an engine $2500-$5500??

They couldn't agree on a price. I think the reason my father in law wants it is because he has the aero coupe and he wants the Pontiac version too. I am not a fan of either one. They have 305's in them that produce under 200 hp. We did find out that the trans was in the car but it is shot. The engine also needs rebuilt. So if any one else is interested they can send me a pm. He is asking $3000. I haven't seen the car in person and all I can tell you is that the car is complete and he doesn't want to come down on his price at all. The car is in Kokomo Indiana.

my boss man has a 55 mile pontiac 2+2 for sale. asking a grand over sticker price when new. so i think thats 17k area.
