John Gallina in SS/DX (super stock class) ran the first EVER NHRA Super Stock 7 second pass in his 3050lb. 207ci twin turbo GN. He went 7.98 with an intercooler pipe clamp coming loose around 1000ft. 207ci. and it makes 1,292hp. That's 6.24hp per ci!!!!

Duttweiler knows how to make some power!

The write-up in this week's National Dragster tells alot about John & Marka's hot rod. Too bad it never mentioned Len, Nick, or any of the other behind the scene folks.

thats cool, but what i dont understand is why is he using a smaller block? i thought genrally as you go faster you go bigger too?

The NHRA class that John runs is based upon a cubic inches to weight ratio. Imagine how fast it would go if his cas was lighter than 3100#'s and the motor larger than 207 cu. in.!:D
