2 passes on the ta49

scott,al tinman has me at 10.96,11.0,11.1@123+mph,his car is lighter than mine and he pushed 30psi on c-16,slicks and skinnies.back in the day, fred vetter went 11.09@119mph with his white t-type on c-16 and slicks with his fastest radial times in the 11.4 11.5 range at 116.those are the fastest guy's i know of running with a 49.i'm up there at 11.3 on radials,and my 11.41 pass @118.60 last season is the fastest pass that i know of on pump gas and alky and radials.

Personally I'm much more impressed with pump gas street cars on DR's spraying some Alky...something the average guy can relate to and be a daily driver if so desired :biggrin:

People were running low 11's like 12 yrs ago w/ the 49 in TSS my buddy ran some 11.40's w/ radials a 49 and blue tops.

just went 11.2 letting out up top.like i said before,10.96 is the fastest 49 car i have heard of.fred ran the bluetops but needed the c16.my 11.2/11.3 runs were on pump gas and alky with couple of gallons of 100 octane unleaded.
