I wasn't sure how far those valves went thru, been a while since I put mine in. You can download the video of the install or contact TransGo for a copy of the instructions. CK should have the Throttle Valve Boost Spring.

The video is incomplete,it dosnt show valve spring part.I think summit beat me witht the kit it was not the same kit i installed in my br trans and i paid the same price 129.It was missing the guppy plate and a few other parts but the instructions and parts i think where from a lower model kit.Be couse i remember drilling a hole in the servo enlarging it and installing a bigger orfice peice.In this latest kit i did not have to do that nor did i have to remove the the bigger weight spring from the governer.**** is all mixed up now.

After taking out the 2-3 shift valves's.I have discovered a spring spacer in there between the 2-3 SHIFT and the 2-3 Throttle right in the middle.Is this supposed to be there The atsg manual does not show the spring spacer in there??

The HD2 kit instructions show a short tight wound spring spacer between the 1-2 Shift Valve & the Low-1st/Detent Valve. Most posts I've read said not to use it, can't remember what problems it caused.

I done this to the 1-2 shift valve,but weird there is the same short tight wound spring spacer in the 2-3 shift valve is this why no 2-3 shift from the getgo,is this supposed to be there in the 2-3 shift valve.

May be the problem, someone may have installed it on the wrong valve. I tried to search & find what problem that short spring on the 1-2 valve caused but haven't found it so far.

Im going to pull the valve body again and try it without the spring spacer inthe 2-3 shift valve.
Wish someone could confirm that it does not belong there before pulling the valve body again or explain it's purpose in there.

"Update" Went ahead and removed that spring spacer in the 2-3 shift valve.removed vb and all that.Put everything back together and bingo 2-3 shift. I would like to kick the person that stuck that spring spacer in there what was the point of it.I put the transgo shift kit in there but the spring spacer that particular kit recomends went in the 1-2 shift valve.Why would someone put that in 2-3 shift valve maybe they confused it with 1-2 .Man i been thru alot becouse of it.Thanks to all for helping me out on this issue really apreciate it. Thank god it is fixed now and i can finally move on the other projects like this 84 hot air that will not start thanks again. :wink:

I have a transgo kit in my brf trans,i like it alot.The bq trans shifts just as well but the rear is a peg leg, so this is my next project.Thanks for the help
