Well, I am the new guy here, so hello to all.
Here is my plan, I've been searching this board for days now and the olds board too. I have a 2004r I would like to improve upon. It is behind a 350 horse 350 chevy in my 'bu wagon. Has a 150 shot too. The last tranny was a smoked 2004r I put in just to get the swap done. I picked up a good stocker out of a chevy caprice wagon. So this is what I was thinking. BTW, trying to get a D5 GN converter, or an aftermarket 2200 stall.
1) Shim the 1-2 accumulator with a 3/4" shim and go from there.
2) Shim the 3-4 accumulator with a 3/8 shim and go from there.
3) I made a pin to block the main bias valve.
4) Shaved the small weight of the governer, took out the small spin on
heavy weight. Will adjust from there.
5) I have a seperator plate diagram and will drill the hole to 1/8 inch. I think
there were three, using the TCI/art carr/B&M (which one?) transpak
intructions.
6) Remove the TV exhuast spring. (what exactly does this do??
)
7) Made a 1.5mm shim for the pressure regulator spring (can I get a stiffer
spring, and from where)
8) Remove MTV spring
9) Check balls, should I remove some??
different kits say remove different ones??
10) Shim the TV spring, (but by how much?Or get a stiffer one, but where?)
11) Bigger TV and low/reverse boost valves
12) Modify the servo. But what does taking out the cusion spring, and
removing the seal from the outside of the inner piston do?? Also gonna
plug the pin hole. (planning on getting a 200 servo) Should I do any
other mods to the servo?
Sorry guys, I know this is long winded. I got most of this info from this site. THANKS  But I want to be sure this is good to do before doing it. If yous think anything is wrong with this plan, please lemme know. Thank you all.
