You may be able to buy the comp cover and a 3 bolt housing to switch your turbo around. Should be way less expensive, just a thought.

Looking for some clarification if possible, please:

1. Any diameter downpipe size (from the turbo) is allowed. The downpipe must be routed through the stock location. No flex pipe is allowed.

I have a piece of flex pipe that connects my downpipe to my exhaust, is that rule still in place, or would that piece be allowed?

If your downpipe is as long as a TH style downpipe and flex pipe is used just to join the downpipe and exhaust you should be fine.
