Ive had several sets of 853's rev to 6400,no prob,no valve float, now 6500+ with em is a diff story!!I will be using the 885's,I will not rev it to 7k as im iffy pushing a Buick that hard, just what Dan said...

I do not like solids,as it sucks having to adjust them(i know maintenence but im lazy)

With all the $$$$ parts on this thing and no class restrictions with weight and such,I dont see why it couldnt run 150mph....
What springs were you using? Id bet spring life woudl be be more of a problem than checking a solid cammed engines clearances.

GT47-88, at least that's one I want to try out in the near future.

Not the best choice for your combination.
1400HP Turbo with 600-700HP capable stock crank.
You would also need a different fuel pump, injectors, intercooler, down pipe,
converter, transmission and a couple other things.
If you want to go that big you need to buy my stage II motor...

You also forgot the 7000 stall converter to go with that!

I cant remember off the top of my head but I beleive Comp,I know they were dual springs...lemme see if I can find whcih ones...

Solid cams with there high spring pressures wear out just as quick AND need constant adjustment.

I wouldnt think of trying a 88 on 235!!!

I'd call Borg Warner and ask them what extended tip turbo would fit your power and E.T. Local shop around here made way more power on the same wheel combo with the B.W. extended tip turbo.

You still have that thing? I think the crank will hold more than that. I ran the car at 30psi and it still runs. :D
