Decided to order it getting it in next few days, any opinions of it? Downpipe recommendations to go with it? Thanks

I'm very pleased with mine. It spools great with the stock converter and pulls real strong.....great street manners.

My times reflect poor traction/launch technique but the speed is there. I'm sure it has more in it but I haven't had the time to get it to the track for more tuning.

I just removed my stock turbo from my 87 GN. I was going to throw on a TE-44 until I could purchase one of these 6131bb's. Now Im up in the air, whether I should just wait.

Where did you get yours from? Also if anyone has info on where to purchase one for a fair price would be appreciated.

Price pretty much was 1320 bucks but lemme tell you i was supposed to wait 2 weeks for the order and only took a week. I think hartline performance has some pull up there with precision:eek: im getting a precision ic from hartline they are cutting me a sweet deal so i would try them. holly is tops in customer service so you cant go wrong with them:cool:

I just put mine on and all I can say is WOW!!!. Jack Cotton gave me a great deal on it and a precision SLIC. You wont be disapointed.

I have been wanting to try that turbo. I know it has to be a great street turbo. Thanks for posting!

I was wondering what exhaust housing size you went with? I know they offer the .63 and the larger.82?. Which is better for street and some track? Providing you are sticking to a stock converter. Will the big exhaust housing have a problem spooling at low end?

I'm in the process of installing one on my son's car. I'll let you know how it turns out. :)

Go with the .63 housing with a stock converter or you will get to much lag.

Got the turbo on the car today and all I can say is WOW!! This turbo spools like crazy. I'm running the .63 housing with an Edge 10" 3000 stall converter and I absolutely love it! :D

I am psyched out with this turbo. Definetely getting it now. Hope to have enough in a couple of weeks!!

I am going to purchase one of these in the next couple of weeks. My question is relating to the oil and coolant lines that they sell as a kit for these turbos.

I will obviously need the coolant lines to hook up to the turbo, but will I need the oil line kit? Or can I simply use the stock one with a fitting in the turbo, like the stock turbo?

If you buy a turbonetics, they sell a bb turbo that is not water cooled. and yes the stock oil line should work fine. But i would replace it with a new one or a braided line.

Is the Turbonetics a dual ball bearing turbo or single ball bearing?

Can you precision turbo guys answer the oil line question? Thanks
