My IC came with a couple of hump hoses and they seem to work to make up for a less than perfect alignment. I also spray the pipes with hairspray because the hoses go on easier and then it acts as an adhesive when it drys.
Also easy to remove if you have to take the hoses off.

I didn't even see the misspelled word.

Huh...hairspray....so it does have a purpose...
My skull is completely devoid of hair, so I've always thought hairspray was stupid.

Ya...I was looking at hump hoses. I need one that steps down from 2.5 to 2".

x2 och!!!! my wife just smack me on the back of my head and said wake up:D

Testify!
I feel your pain, brah.

So this is my first DBB turbo...

Is it normal to be able to hear the thing winding down for several seconds after the engine is shut off?
What sound would be....abnormal?

First time I heard it, I thought it was my fans spinning to a stop....tonight I popped the hood real quick after shutting off, and it's definitely the turbo.

How's that turbo treating you? I'm thinking of going 6262dbb with a 2800 stall for a 99%street driven car. But now you have me thinking..

It's really quick and quick spooling. I had to add another alchy nozle because it was spooling so fast that the alchy could not keep up. On another note, I have a 3200 stall, but my freshly rebuilt STOCK transmission is fried between 2nd and third. So now I need a build to handle the 500-600 rear hp range.

I like it.
I have not had it to the track yet, but Flaco, with the same turbo (I think his is an E cover tho), a higher flowing FMIC and a non-roller cam just came away from Fontana with an 11.3 at 120mph and a 1.8 on the 60' launching with no boost. If he works out that launch and 60'...no reason why he can't tickle a high 10 out of it...and I'm assuming I'll be able to achieve close to the same ET/MPH....just gotta prove it fer real.;)

Here's Flaco's day at the track...

My single nozzle alky is keeping up so far...it's set at about 6.5 ...
But I've left the RJC Boost Controller off in order to counter the faster spool and it seems to be working out in street duty, and I have the fuel set at 145 in the TT chip which is keeping my O2's above 790 with no KR

How much boost are you running w/o the RJC boost controller?

You raced anybody yet?:D

I'm sitting at 22lbs currently.
Zero knock and the O2's are in the 790's or higher.

Check the Kill section...:D
It's safe to say...I've got issues with self control...

You're killin' me, Chicken! Seriously! :D

Still got 3" of snow out here so my GN cant go anywhere...:frown:

Did have it running the other day, and Ive been filling the trunk with parts.

I'll get her out and about here soon enough.

The new turbo does look good though! Im still rockin' the old school TE-62 which has worked well for me. I like it. Just need a PTE SLIC to complete my setup.

Move to So Cali!!!

It's been in the mid/high 70's with blue sky's the last week or so.

We did have a lot of rain back in December, but since then....beautiful turbo weather.

And if you start to miss the snow....just drive an hour into the mountains and it's there....play with it until your head hurts... then drive back to the beach.
