Just wondering if any of you guys are turkey hunters or memebers on NWTF. Please contact me if you are interested in a free guided turkey hunt in MS this year. Season runs basically between March and end of April. Please let me know if you would like to come chase some gobblers with us! Will post some video and pics of previous if that is ok with the moderators.

ThunderChickens!

There we go! Nice pics, I have some video of an albino if I can figure out how to get it posted. We have had great success with our repopulation strategies in the last few years. If you, or anyone else is interested, we have some slots open for hunts this year. We are hunting 3800ac of mixed river bottom hardwoods and pine thickets. I will post some pics tom of a few plots tom. Please contact me if you would like to come over and chase some birds!

you guys bow hunt or shotgun or both?

I used to go hunting to get away from whatever project was in my garage at the time but then id get out in the woods and within 1hr id be thinking about what im gonna do next to that project in my garage.

growing up i had all kinds of land to encroach, now its all strip malls and since I sold my boat..none of that either.

sounds tempting though

Welcome to Surburbia!

I was reading an article in deer and deer hunting magazine this year about expansion of suburbs and how it is affecting wildlife. Still some good opportunities out there on small tracts.
To answer the question, we hunt both, bow and shotgun. Bows are very tough to take a gobbler, can be done though. Shotgun is tough enough but a bow is a whole other level.
I just separated the body and frame of my GN yesterday, have a feeling I will need some time to sit and stare in the woods for a while. Still can't believe I actually did it.
