I didn't order a DP from Marvin, but some other parts. They came in today, so hopefully for the rest of you guys he will make it right.
I'm with BandAid, maybe he is overwhelmed.

He told me he was selling a "few" and then no more. And was not going into business blah blah blah. I didn't have a good feeling about it and should have closed the thread. Well looks like he sold more then a "few." This is one of the reasons why we require guys to become vendors. We get plenty of info and make sure things are legit.....

I emailed him Yesterday and he told me the 2 lost DP's set him back a lot it takes 3-4 days to make just one and hes been working over time at his day job. Dont know if its all BS or not. Im just hopping for the 4" DP I ordered hes telling be Ill have a tracking # Monday If I do Ill post up so others know about it. If I dont Ill be filling a complaint with pay pal so I can start the happy process of getting my $$ back

Yes I have a Houston 3.5 down pipe we will be sending to Sam.
Sam's 3.5 down pipe should be here today. I just want to verify before we ship that the dump pipes are the same length.
I'm also sending Sam the Houston headers so the external gate will match perfect.
Once they have the 3.5 built building the 4" will not be a problem.
When we start carrying these products we will stand behind them 100%. We plan on keeping a minimum of 10 in stock at all times.

We still sell about 5 down pipes of our here a week so there is still a very strong market for down pipes.

I just hope he comes threw I dont need to be a dick just yet but I will say Im not one to be messed with I have many means of getting my $$ back if pay pal wont/cant do it.
One will be to have it taken out of his hide (Highway men dont play games!)

I am in the same boat as CS99, may not recieve any money back! Remember this comment by Marvin:

"That Is why I use PayPal. So if you are unhappy you can always get your money back. But you will also need to return what is mine when and if it ever gets to you, or it will be you that will be seeing me on your doorstep!"

I'll know in a week if the money is recoverable, if not I will booking a plane ticket, I have all the pertinent information to make a site visit. :wink:

Paypal

I have done many disputes paypal and have gotten most of my money back. Paypal takes about 2-3 months for a dispute. If you never recieved an item you will get 100% of your money back. If you did recieved it and it's not as described than a percentage will be take out BUT the item has to be returned.

Always pay through a credit car and not your checking or dedit card. A cc dispute directly with the cc company will be quicker if you gone through paypal.

being a seller/buying and ALWAYS using paypal i have found a few tricks in getting your money back. If paypal cant get your money call the credit/debit card company you used through paypal and dispute charged. Paypal will be forced to make the sellers account go in the negative to give you your funds back. ALWAYS use a debit/credit card when buying through paypal. NEVER use a electronic transfer through your banks savings/checking account through paypal

Ok, here is where im at with him. I went to his house and gave him a down payment to make me a 3.5" pipe. Two weeks go by and still no downpipe. He told me he had two pipes made one for stock headers and one for TA headers. He told me that he shipped the wrong pipe out and he is waiting to get it back , so he can give it to me. He said if he doesn't get the pipe back tomorrow he is going to give me the one that he is just about finished making. I've been in contact with him 5 or 6 times over this two week period. I've seen these pipes in person and they are nice. I should have my pipe by tomorrow evening. He is making another one for me ( so he says ). Im going to his house tomorrow to pick it up. I have his cell number, but im not going to give it out yet. I know where he lives and I know where he works. He's not going anywhere. I will call him later today and let him know that people are not happy with him right now.

I need to know how many people does he owe pipes to? What was his promise delivery date? How late is he?

I will try to help if I can.
