From what i been reading about wastespark systems, the timing wont be double, but if the timing light had a rpm indicator it would read double the rpm. SO i should go back to bed.......
Anyone run into this on your BJH balancer . No matter how I set my crank sensor I was still getting that distintive sound of the interruptor ring rubbing on something . after the second or third time setting the crank sensor upon closer inspection found that the ring was slightly coming in contact with the timing chain cover . go figure . I just hit the spot with a small file and so far all is well .
Mine fit fine and works great, but if I were to do another engine I would have the crank key extend to the end of the crank. Putting the balancer on and "guessing" its lined-up perfectly really bites.
