Well, many of you already know this, but I suppose I should say something. It is not reallty a big deal or anything, but TurboBuick.Com ownership is in the process of changing hands to Bruce Toelle.

Not counting us creating the site for Mike Licht years ago, over the past two years Chris and I had the pleasure of running this site from a terrible hardware failure that forced us to start from square one to a very large community, certainly the largest Turbo Buick community online.

We had our fair share of ups and downs and I would not be telling the truth if I said it was always easy for us. All we wanted to do was provide a good place for the Turbo Buick community to call home. We got in the ring, took a few beatings here and there but still, we are pretty proud of what we have accomplished.

So, now that Chris is getting married in a year and I have unfairly neglected my wife and son for the past two years, we realized that we would like to move on to other things. After a great deal of thought, we decided that maybe it was a good time to pass it on to someone who could take the site and run with it. Since I consider Bruce to be like a brother and since he is so well known in the Buick world, we began making arrangements for him to take over of TurboBuick.Com and are now in the final stages of the transfer. Most of you won't notice too much right away, it will be a relatively smooth transfer.

Again, this is really no big deal and we think this is a very good thing as this is better for us and better for the TurboBuick.Com community. Bruce has some good plans to continue making this site better, and we are very excited to see how things will turn out. It was not an easy decision to make since we had put such a great deal of work into this site, but we know it is in good hands.

We will still be around to help out here and there, just like how things were before two years ago but from this point on, Bruce is now driving this hulking power monster known as TurboBuick.Com.

We have made many friends over the past couple of years and those friends will never be forgotten. We will still be around so always stay in touch.

Thank you.

Thanks for the work, Jason. Congrat's Bruce, too. And in a curious twist of irony, your post was 1 of 547. Magic number. LOL!

Jason,

Wow!!! First off let me say thanks for providing an enviroment that I cruise often. There have been many freindships formed just from this site and for that I thank you and your crew for taking the time to give us TR guys/gals a place to call home.

Bruce, the best of luck to you! I too feel this site is in good hands with you.

Thanks for the thanks, everyone.

One thing I should add (I just found out) that all posts after 5:00 AM EST might not make the transfer which is planned for today, so I may have to repost this. :)

Thanx Jason. Before this site I was alone in this area as far as turbo buicks go. Didn't know about any of the shows or get togethers. Now I hit quite a few shows and a trip or 2 to the track a year. Thanx for all the hard work and time and dedication.

You are definitely turning it over to good hands with Bruce. I have only been able to talk to him a few times but seems like a great guy. I am looking forward to continued use of this site. Plus........... TurboBuick.com coming to west coast events???!!!!???:D

Thank you for all your hard work Jason.. Im sure Bruce is the proper man to carry the torch:)

I just want to say thanks to Jason and Chris for this site. Your hard work has paid off, and this site has helped a lot of people. Under Bruce, I think it will continue to be a great site. But don't be a stranger!

I just wanted to say thanks for everything. The board is great and I look forward to seeing what Bruce is going to do regarding this great community of ours. :)

Thanks a lot, this is definitely the best board out there. The members certainly play a role in making it so, but without you guys' hard work we'd have been up the creek. Enjoy getting back to your lives, but definitely don't be strangers!

Thanks for putting up with us Buick whiners, we are some of the best on the planet.

Good luck with your future plans, and try to make it to Flint for the Centennial.

Also are you going to be running M8 in Stanton this year? Maybe my sorry ass can attend this year

Thanks for all your hard work! By the way, did you ever get a Buick? I remember a post about the board pitching in parts to build you a car. What ever happened

Good luck!
