Shane? What was on the car prior to the Billet 67 hpq. That is what you have right?

Quik Six :The 6768 is rated at 920hp The 6765 is rated at 875hp.
Congrats in the times with the 62.

Grumpy went 138mph with a cast 67GTQ... The 6765 and 6768 are rated higher that the 70GTQ.

The Question still stands... Has anyone taken off a 70GTQ, put one of these 67s on, and made more power or ran a quicker ET??

With a purpose built engine this turbo should be able to knock out some 9.30's@ 144mph.

Comparing it to a standard 67hpq with an s cover... The difference was quite evident when the boost exceeded 28#'s. We weren't planning for that but it shot right up and really surprised us. I plan to get alot more testing done on this car before too long...

How much would it hurt by going to a 3/2 E cover, if that combo exists?

That is the "THS" cover. Based on what I have seen running sleeved covers on the big turbo's in NMRA, I can't say that it will be much of a diference. 90% of the guys won't max the turbo out to find the diference.
FWIW: I ran that turbo on my jetski for a while.

Ted: He is "south" of you ;)

Cal:You need to sell tickets and give away a 6765 turbo to who guesses whose car this is. If you have more than one who gets the right name, pull the winner out of a hat.

This is getting to be pretty funny.

LOL. Too be honest, I expect a couple other 67mm cars to run about the same before the year is over. I know neither of them will be shy :D

So on a street car that you are wanting mid tens this shouls be plenty im guessin or would someone be better off with a 6265 using a 9.5 ptc..Im askin cause i got a te63 off a buddy of mine(price was right) but when i buy a new one hmmm....

I'll let you know after I get to the track tomorrow night and see what mine runs.
Sure wish Cal or Grumpy were going to be in OKC tomorrow night.

I don't have the PTC 9.5 but if my present convertor doesn't get the job done, I'll get one. Noble's coming in 4 weeks and I don't like looking at a horse's ass.
