What is the advantage of the billet servo in a high 12 or low 13 sec car or is it overkill?

Or do I stay with the stock GN servo and go with the 300M anchor since it is adjustable?

The billet servo that PTS sells includes the adj anchor correct?

How can I adjust the proper band clearance without the special tool and what should it be, same as stock pin with 3 grooves?

I have the servo out (prior to complete disassembly) trying to figure a way to get this setting correctly.

Thanks guys, paul

C'mon guys, 28 views and no responses?

Bruce, need the full scoop. Thanks all.

Paul the 300m anchor pin comes in stock or .010 oversize for a worn case. It is not adjustable. The billet servo may be a bit much for your power. I would suggest staying with your GN servo for now. The last thing is, the servo pin for the billet unit is adjustable. As far as the setting goes, give us a call and I can get Bruce to walk you thru it.

thanks, Mark

Ok Mark, thanks for the explanation. I now understand better. But how do I know if my case is worn and if I need the .010 oversize pin? What should the dim be? I don't think I can get in there to measure it?
Any thoughts?

paul:) :p

Actually i think my tranny was one of the first ones that needed a .010 over anchor pin from PTS, but basically it would move in the case hole from side to side a bit, it really should be snug in there and not have much side to side play, the .010 over anchor worked perfect on mine.

**** all the tools.add an extedo pin.grind it until the snap ring will just install in the case .now grind 060 off the pin .done.
