Pretty much all of the boost controllers that you see nowadays are not set to your boost pressure. You stomp the throttle and see
what it goes to and then adjust the "controller" up or down to change your boost.

post a picture of your mechanical boost gizmo, there are good ones and bad ones in that department.

I'll post pics when i head to the shop to drop off my turbo this week. Thanks for the advice but if there is more please keep them coming.

I've been use a Greddy Bspec 2 for years. Works pretty decent, was easy to hook up, and they're pretty cheap.

Price went up a bit since I bought mine. $349 on eBay right now.

Thats looks so simple to use. I think thats the one i'll with thanks. On my supra i set the boost through the boost gauage versus my the gauage on my t-type that simply displays boost (It cant set the boost through the gauge).

I use my powerlogger and SD2 chip to control boost through a upgraded MAC solenoid . Through the stock wiring

Ive also got the SD chip and powerlogger. I didnt know i could control boost that way. is there a setting on there that says something like "boost setting"?

Do u have the SD2 chip or just the SD? SD2 under the tune page you will see boost DC% in 1st&2nd ,then another one for 3rd and one for 4th

I have the SD2 chip. I thought that was duty cycle (injector). I never got to play with the tuning part because i blew a head gasket as soon as i installed the stuff, lol. Ok so the SD2 chip has a boost controller built in and i dont need to get the electric one. I'll probable pull out the one i have thats runs into my consule. one less vaccume like (or two less). Sorry about the spelling, im too lazy to correct it.

You need to get a boost solenoid. Your stock one will work just won't give your the best control . I believe full throttle sell the MAC solenoid . That is the one I'm using

Looks damn nice, only price I found is $899.00

Pricey yes, but has lots of neat features and doesn't need CO2. AMS 1000 goes for $950 w/o all those features and CO2 equipment. Just my opinion. Not bad...

My boost leash doesn't need CO2 but the spoolup difference is night and day ....I ran mine with manifold pressure in 2014. I now have 80 psi on the gate and it spools from 5 psi to 25 psi in .4 seconds.

I do like all of the options on the controller that you posted though

Hello dank GN,
Can you post a picture up of this installation, interested in the vacuum and wiring connections. I see that this is not your current setup and is an older post.
