The puck is covering the hole fine. Put the stock turbo on and now it won't go past 14. Even with my boost controller all the way in. I also tried it with my boost Controller unhooked from the waste gate. Now it won't go past 14!!

Disconnect the wastegate arm and wire it shut. Then CAREFULLY see how much boost you can make. BE READY to overboost so watch the gauge!!!

If you overboost, it's your wastegate signal. If you still can't make boost, find your exhaust leak and fix it.

Is it slow to spool? Are you using a gasket between the turbo and downpipe? I had done this before and boost was way down. Puck wasn't sealing. Threw out the gasket and reassembled with a paper thin smear of ultra copper only.

In that case, were you seeing assloads of knock when you were cranking on the boost levels?

When I floor it and let off a white smoke puff comes out from under my hood right where my air filter is any idea what that could be?

I run a ta49 with RJC controller and a adj. Actuator, I see 25 psi boost with no problems....

New to these cars.... so the white puff is from my alky not spraying?

Alky isn't operational?

My bad. I too get my threads crossed. As long as you monitor kr, you should be able to run that turbo all out with a good tune. Wire it shut and see!

The white puff is not good. Usually coolant makes a white puff and there shouldn't be any of that going through your motor.

If there were any getting in my motor it'd be a blown head gasket?? Or is there another possibility.

Just do a compression test or have a shop do it. You may be fine. It's amazing how well these cars can run with something wrong though so get it checked and you'll know.
