Bought a ttype today

Well guys i am the proud owner of a 87 ttype limited, brown/maroon in color, lots of other details but too tired to type. Get this, i bought it from the original owner, he was close to like 80 years old. This car came with so much stuff. I probably wont sleep tonight because im so excited. I haven't forgotten about my broken lt1 motor, but she will have to wait for a while now. Well im off to go stare at my new car, will update and post pics later.

yeah post pix..... sounds like my story - i bought my T-limited from the original owner back in '98. he was around 70-80 at the time.... he kept the car up real good. back seat had never been sat in and to this date front/back seats HAVE never been directly sat in [always had a cover or blanket on it].... your car sounds awesome... hold on to it. These limiteds are something special. Congratulations you are one of the 1035 :biggrin:

I bought both of my TRs from an 75-80 year old handicap man. And bought my LS1 TA from a 65 year old lady, my friends mom. They were original owners of the cars, i felt real lucky.

I would like to see some pix to, that color sounds rare.

Well i just got back. Been through two tanks already i just cant stop driving the car. I also took pics so if someone would post them for me i would appreciate that, just list your email. Ok here is what comes with the car that i have identified, most of the stuff i have no idea what it is

geez the list goes on and on, i have a box full of receipts and documents from 87, including kenne bell cam, lifter, rods, injectors, etc, and this was just on one receipt. going thru the box i found a brand new scanmaster. the owner never hooked it up. extra set of injectors, sensors, rims, there is just alot of stuff i have to go through, need help

Any gn owners in southern california please if possible, i would like to meet so i can understand fully what i just bought and have. So the pics are here and waiting.

Holy Smokes Batman, i just found out my car has champion heads....i was taking a look right below the valve covers that i just changed b/c i think my driver was leaving, then i see a freakin name.....The says champion gn1's. Holy cow the 80 year old man was not playing. Lord have mercy, i need to go thru the receipts to find out whats in this car....I cant get over this b/c the old man couldnt really remember what was on the car....Someone host the pics pleeeeeeeeeeeeeez

Ok guys i went out again to confirm, and unless im blind, the car has champion gn1 heads.....ahmmm so what exactly am i suppose to do next now :biggrin: he definetly had alot of money in the car and has save me thousands

Pics sent to antagon. I paid 13k for the car. Mileage around 85k including mileage on gn dash. Went through some of the reciepts and im close to 20k spent on the car and im not done. I completely found this car by the grace of God and a little bit of eaves dropping into nick micales conversation. Worked out great, i need to go back there to pick up all the other parts the owner has for me. I wish i could find some people in my area with these cars, sucks.

At this time i have no parts forsale, i do have some maf's though. I have one lt1 maf and 2 ls1. One of the ls1 mafs is brand new, box never opened from dal slaubaugh

It didnt to me either, but then again he also had a new bmw 6 series and a yukon on 22's.....and showed me a speeding ticket of him clocking 108 mph...he said was this was after he started to slow down, he was actually doing 150
