SignUp Now!Thanks. So the black cap fits right in the hole where the connecting tube was attached? How do you secure it?
Well........ Got it together but I had to cut a half inch off the bottom just to make it fit so it wouldn't impact the screen. In the process of that the ellement broke off. (OF COURSE). Krazy Glue it is. Everything is made of garbage.
Yes and I can't return it because I cut it. Lets see if the Krazy Glue holds. Seem like my life revolves around Duct tape and Krazy Glue.
If you have the stock set up you likely have quite a bit of oil in your intercooler if it has not been removed and cleaned in awhile.not to sound like a noob but whats purpose of this mod?
Put a clamp on that rubber cap!View attachment 142237View attachment 142236View attachment 142235I cut about a half inch off the neck. Should have the clearence I'm looking for. I took my car out for a long drive to see ir the heat from the turbo would break down the glue. So far so good. Looks good too. No oil leaks . Also installed the chrome oil fill tube. ROCK AND ROLL!!!!
Any of the vendors sell the breather. It's an open element K&N breather. Your stock breather just pulls out of the valve cover. Remove the little shield in front of it and push in the new K&N replacement. No need to remove the turbo.I like that oil filler tube breather, where did you find it? Anyone else know? Thanks, Joel
