Can anybody send a picture of their passenger Breather bypass kit installed. Not sure how far down to cut the connecting tube.
Thanks

Pull that tube off all together. The little cap that came with the bypass kit goes directly on the turbo.

Thanks. So the black cap fits right in the hole where the connecting tube was attached? How do you secure it?

The black cap fits over the small port on the Turbo where you remove the tube. The breather filter fits in the hole in the valve cover where you remove the stock orange painted filter assembly.

Well........ Got it together but I had to cut a half inch off the bottom just to make it fit so it wouldn't impact the screen. In the process of that the ellement broke off. (OF COURSE). Krazy Glue it is. Everything is made of garbage.

That kit didn't fit worth a crap on my car. I would have to remove a heat shield & a brace for it to fit in there properly. I ended up keeping the orange part along with the rubber elbow. I then installed the breather in that elbow.

Unbelievable. Is that the one from Kirban?

Yes and I can't return it because I cut it. Lets see if the Krazy Glue holds. Seem like my life revolves around Duct tape and Krazy Glue.

LOL! Not my life.....

If that does not hold try some black RTV.

The breather neck is too long. Even if you did get it to go in, It can't function properly. It hit's the baffle wall in the valve cover.

So it's completely useless unless you cut the neck or drill holes in the side.

The originals breathers were not as long and were build with integrity. They use to be a much better unit but like everything else, they turned to crap.

Even the one they sell for the driver cover is junk now.

004.jpg010.jpg007.jpgI cut about a half inch off the neck. Should have the clearence I'm looking for. I took my car out for a long drive to see ir the heat from the turbo would break down the glue. So far so good. Looks good too. No oil leaks . Also installed the chrome oil fill tube. ROCK AND ROLL!!!!

I like that oil filler tube breather, where did you find it? Anyone else know? Thanks, Joel

Any of the vendors sell the breather. It's an open element K&N breather. Your stock breather just pulls out of the valve cover. Remove the little shield in front of it and push in the new K&N replacement. No need to remove the turbo.
