Bruce, you have a message

Bruce, hi, I guess you don't have priv message since you have the option turned off; I posted it here. Looking at the diy-wb.com site, there is a T-shaped controller schematic that uses a 2x16 LCD display and an Amtel board. Looks perfect for a portable WBO2. However, it says the WBO2 controller was built on that board where the electonics for the display are already in place. I d/l'd the zip file of the schematics and to say it simply, it's over my head. Is there a simple way to adapt the WBO2 kit to this board? The LCD and board are cheap enough to purchase. This is the unit I'd really like to have in the end. Maybe it's just not attainable for a newbie solderer like me. Then again, one can do anything one put's one's mind to, right? :D

Dat's fine.

That LCD display thing is way beyond me. From the beginning the DIY-WB was mwant for Average Joe Mechanics, and the basic board is for us folks, the advanced stuff is for the EE types.

The Bruce Roe 40 LED display is perfect got tuning thou...

Thanks. I guess I'll see if I can get the darn thing to work first and then go from there.
