Man that does my heart good to see that! I would name him Phoenix!:)

Looks like it's come a long way. Props for bringing it back to life.

Awesome!

Very nice work brother, if anyone is going to do a great job, it would be you!!!!

Prasad:D

Jeremy there are alot more experienced body men out there. I have seen fire sheet metal painted before & it hasn't lasted. Paint flakes off in under 2 years.
Just something you may want to look into before paint starts. Any time you can save one great work.

I'm not planning to paint the car but if I was, my painter has brought back some seriously F'ed cars to magazine quality! This one will be easy, it's all in the prep.

But, the paint at least has to come off completely. Why bother doing it half way. As posted, replace the damaged metal is the best bet.

Thanks for everyones professional advice, but I'm not an amatuer when it comes to these cars or the restoration of them and I'm sure I know exactly what I'm doing.

However, LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!!!!! You'll notice that the fenders are not black, they are GREY off of a GREY Regal.

You guys wear me out sometimes. BUT, thanks for all of your wonderful input, NOW CAN WE GET BACK TO THE THREAD??? Thanks.

Sorry, just trying to warn you before you do something stupid like sand, prime and paint the thing, just to have all everything fail after a few years in the sun.

Just like the village bicycle;) How's your luck with using spray bomb on thos exhaust manifolds? I did it once to a set of headers and it all flaked off and looked like ass after a month. Not gonna do it on my car, but will probably end up doing it with Cody's

Usually if peopple dont want to pay to have their headers ceramic coated, I'll just hit them with the glass beads then bake em after I spray em. Seem to last so far! Tyson had his done already when he brought it here.

I plan to work on the car tomorrow afternoon and hopefully I'll get it running either tomorrow or Friday!!! I'm excited!

Not sure what SMH means?

i just found this today on another board

Hi XYZ,

You're lucky, I'm an expert on these kinds of things, please listen to me, for I am the one and only who you should listen to.

First of all, you should stop asking questions, and listen what the experts have to say to you, they aren't experts because of nothing, and internet has nothing to do with it, they are the experts and you are not, better listen to me because I'm an expert.

Best Regards,

Expert 123

it was an attempt at humor

Looking Dude keep up the good work

Ahhh!!!!! Well I can blame my dumbness on my blonde hair at least!

I think most people probably mistakened the grey fenders for primered fenders. I shouldnt have been a smart a$$ becuase now that I look at it, they do look primered.

You were right though, the hood and fenders are all replaced, well I think pretty much everything was replaced to be honest!! Even the rocker caps were melted. Tyson brought me one and it look like a melted candle.

looking good, im in the process of bringing one back to life myself heres a pics of when i picked her up and how she look after a couple rattle cans
