cam opinions

hi,
i am very undecided on what cam to use in my new combo.let me see what you guys have to say.

LT-72
ported irons and intake
72's
girdled engine
th-350 w/9" convertor(well biult)
front mount
double pumper
and the rest of the usual upgrades

going roller is not in my budget

my latest thoughts are on a 224/224 490lift grind .any input on that?im expecting to go at least low 10's.

Have you checked into the split durations like Red' Hot Air uses? I have a 218/218 which will go 10s, but it seems people have had great luck with the Speedpro cams.

hi,
i went with the comp cams 212/212. it should be plenty.
i dont know what i was thinking with the 224/224.much too big! .thanks for the response bsdlinux.i did consider the split cam.
